My First "Full-Length" N73 Video
Well...it's not "Full Length" in the true sense of the word but it's the first time I've had a chance to play with the merge and text editing capabilities of the device. Enjoy!

My Next Toy? Time Will Tell....
The N73 has proven to be a great companion device for good quality still shots and fun spur of the moment video clips (nice phone too ;) ).
But it's got nothing on this:

For those unfamiliar, it's Nokia's new flagship device, the N95. Steve Litchfield and the good folks at All About Symbian recently received a production version of the device. Here's a link to their impressions from a prototype version.
The reason for all the hype is simple: 5MP camera, 30fps video, and built in GPS. But it's the first two specs that have me drooling. Here's a sample video below, courtesy of Steve Garfield, a vlogging pioneer.
Compare that to this 15fps video shot with my N73 of my nephew Joey and you'll see why N-Fanatics everywhere are shaking (literally) waiting for this phone to be released.
Here's another video courtesy of Darla, of Darla Mack, one of the premiere Nokia blogs.

First Still Pics
Here's my first pic for the blog:

The N73 takes great shots outside under good lighting, not just for a camera phone but competes with many consumer oriented digital cameras. Indoor shots on the other hand leave a lot to be desired. Below is a photo taken at a local Barnes & Nobel of my sister-in-law and two of her kids.

So what's all this about?
I recently purchased a Nokia N73 and have been playing with it's multimedia features around the clock. After bouncing back and forth between sites, blogs and forums looking for examples taken by N-Series devices (either video or still images), I've decided to build a blog dedicated solely to the posting of multimedia by N-Series users around the globe. Daunting task? Time will tell.
To kick things off, here's a video a shot during my day job as the Managing Editor of a professional sports team's website. Enjoy!
